I’m a product designer living in sunny South Texas, but have previously called Jacksonville FL, Austin TX, and Las Vegas NV home during my career. After graduating with my BA in Graphic Design with a minor in advertising from Flagler College in 2015, I received a certification in UX/UI Research and Design from the University of Texas at Austin. I’m currently enrolled in a Product Psychology Masterclass with Growth.Design. As a designer, I believe that good design elevates your life -- but great design makes it easier. I strive to give people peace of mind and create experiences that enhance the way we live in small, powerful ways. Great design increases a company's economic and social value through establishing trust, making strong first impressions and being consistent and reliable. It has been my passion throughout my career to achieve this by advocating for the user. At the end of day the things we create are made to function well for the people that use them, and I strive to contribute to creating great user-centric design.
Being creative has always been a part of who I am since I was young -- whether it was printing out my name in every font on Microsoft Word just for fun or writing silly stories just to design the book cover and layout the pages. Now you can find me watching the latest true crime documentary, reading books about life or spending time at the beach on South Padre Island with my dog Rita.
